We're on Softpedia
7 August 2009
Well, looks like we're on Softpedia. I'm impressed. I have no idea who did it, but I'm sure Amanieu deserves all the credit. You can find our entry here.
It's funny, I was just sitting here working, not even thinking about TremFusion, when suddenly I get this email about how we're on Softpedia
"Congratulations,
Tremfusion, one of your products, has been added to Softpedia's database
of software programs for Linux. It is featured with a description text,
screenshots, download links and technical details on this page:
http://linux.softpedia.com/get/GAMES-ENTERTAINMENT/TBS/Action/Tremfusion-49901.shtml
The description text was created by our editors, using sources such as
text from your product's homepage, information from its help system, the
PAD file (if available) and the editor's own opinions on the program
itself."
Groovy. Good job Amanieu on getting r3 out! :)

Don't be *too* impressed. :) Sure, it's very nice TF is getting the exposure, and kudos to Amanieu and everybody involved for r3. But Softpedia just posts anything they can get their hands on, it's not like being published by them is a vote of confidence or statement of quality or anything. :) Sounds like so far they simply didn't know about TF, once they found out you'd have a harder time making them NOT publishing it. :)Posted at 3:01 a.m. on August 12, 2009

Silence, infernal naysayer! No, you're right, it isn't much. Like I said, I was just sitting here when it happened, haven't done anything... so, impressive, no, but hey, I need an excuse to post news :)Posted at 3:58 p.m. on August 24, 2009
